Nigerian Dwarf Goats

  • Nigerian Dairy Goats are a miniature breed of dairy goat originated from West Africa and developed in the United States. Does stand no more than 22.5″ and bucks no more than 22.5″. Any color or combination of colors are acceptable. The medium length ears are erect and alert. Hair is short and fine.
  • Dwarf goats are similar to Pygmy but they are two different distinct breeds. 
  • Nigerian Dairy are incredibly gentle and loving. They make wonderful pets and great animal projects for young children.
  • They breed year round – can have several kids at a time. Triplets are common.
  • Their milk is 6 to 10% higher in butterfat and higher in protein than most dairy goat breeds.
